Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer were one of our favourite celebrity couples and we were sad when they split.
We felt sure they had a good reason that led to the breakdown of their relationship - but it seems not.
The couple separated over Twitter.
Apparently John was too busy twittering to return Jen's calls when she was overseas promoting her new film Marley And Me.
Obviously keen to know what John was up to she had a look on his Twitter page and spotted he'd been updating that instead.
A friend told The Sun: "Jen was fuming. There he was, telling her he didn't have time for her and yet his page was filled with updates!
"Every few hours, sometimes minutes, he'd update with some stupid line."
Let's just say the Friends actress was less than impressed.
"She was like, 'He has time for all this Twittering, but he can't send me a text, an email, make a call?'
"He didn't deny it. He knew he was avoiding her. So when she ended things, he just said OK, and he was sorry it didn't work out," added the source.
And what did John do after the break-up? Update his page, of course.
The update read: "This heart didn't come with instructions."
